June 3rd special day!

Last Wednesday was a special day! The Birthday of Jona Lam the creator of Dai Fu Lou. On this day he didn't really went receiving gifts but actually give some away to his friends.
He made special editions for Kate Sullivan, DJ Re:Flex and Micheal Chan and gave the shirt to them at the Speak Up Event.Credits to Elden who is the photographer of Speak Up!

Dai Fu Lou first film

Dai Fu Lou Freshly washed start from Jona Lam on Vimeo.

Full movie directed and made by Jona at the studio and ofcourse the figure is also Jona, but only the head the body is Alan's works and also hanging it on the cloth hanger. The Dai Fu Lou figure is moving cause of the airco blowing it. Sound and voice is also Jona. Pretty much most by Jona. This short film used Canon EOS 500D to film it in 720 HD setting. Voice is recorded afterwards.

The Body He Made

Alan made the body for Dai Fu Lou, while Jona already made the head of Dai Fu Lou now added colors to it.

Alan later added some more details to the body.

And this is Mars Chan try adding the body for Dai Fu Lou.

Also made a short clip of Dai Fu Lou and will start on more videos with Dai Fu Lou.

Website relauch!

Some might have seen this when going to Daifulou.com you get to a website now instead of going to this blog, we just relauch our website and will be adding allot of stuff to it. Also there are some hidden funny easter eggs between some of the pages, which would activate some animations.

At the gallery we will be adding allot of Dai Fu Lou Characters and will add more sections. You also can easily access the store at the stuff page.

Will soon ad more sections with in the gallery and stuff. Will be adding arts section where all art with Dai Fu Lou will be added, multi media of various vids and more and also downloads of free things you can get.

Dai Fu Peak!

Something that had caught my eye that has the most biggest thing in Hong Kong shaped as and underwear, it is the big building on the Peak where you could go on top to watch the view over Hong Kong. Showing above how close the shape is to an underwear / Dai Fu. Will try and photograph some more stuff that is same shape as Dai Fu Lou but isn't an underwear at all.

Something we haven't showed yet is that we have been giving away business cards of Dai Fu Lou, some might already recieved them and some even collected all three. If you see one of us you can always ask for a business card.

Dai Fu Mui Yvonne

Last weekend a new Dai Fu Mui character have been created especially for Yvonne Leung. And wore the Tshirt during the Jagermeister Bikini Dance Event.
