Sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I have not been back in the Netherlands for a whole week and first few days really got a major jetlag was sleeping long hours. However I got allot of stuff to do in the Netherlands, my administration of my company plus doctors visits and allot things for Dai Fu Lou. I now managed to get a exhibition in Rotterdam that will be held on 15th of July and I am now busy prepairing allot of designs and paintings.
Here above you can see some pictures of the flight back to the Netherlands, I first went to the Hong Kong Airport and then flew to London Heathrow and had to stay there for a while to catch another plane to the Netherlands. When I was back home and later that night was a beautifull sunset. Great to be back because it is really pretty here compared to HK where everything is gray. However will be going back to HK on 19th.
Last week the day before Jona and Dai Fu Lou left to the Netherlands Jona had a hair cut session, with him actually cutting and trimming his own hair. He wanted to do this to actually leave behind some bad times and hair are kind of time cause it grow with time and can actually measure top of the hair is from last time Jona had a hair cut and below it growing from each day and rest are the days between. Also Jona wanted to do something bold and actually having few photographers capturing the moment and let them try experimenting with taking pictures. Watch the video below.
At the party we gave a shirt to the newest Dai Fu Mui , Annie Lin / AnnieWho who actually sponsors Kate Sullivan with lovely dressed at each EVENT. Also if you can see the shirts are actualy different then before because we have gone over to a new design actually placing the Dai Fu Character on the bottom close to the area where people normally would wear their underwear.
Also we have gaven a shirt to Elden Cheung who have photograph these pictures, also credits to him for photographing our shirts and Dai Fu Lou each time. Hope to see everyone who has gotten a shirt to wear them during the next Event. For more pictures of this EVENT click here.
Last Wednesday was a special day! The Birthday of Jona Lam the creator of Dai Fu Lou. On this day he didn't really went receiving gifts but actually give some away to his friends. He made special editions for Kate Sullivan, DJ Re:Flex and Micheal Chan and gave the shirt to them at the Speak Up Event.Credits to Elden who is the photographer of Speak Up!
Full movie directed and made by Jona at the studio and ofcourse the figure is also Jona, but only the head the body is Alan's works and also hanging it on the cloth hanger. The Dai Fu Lou figure is moving cause of the airco blowing it. Sound and voice is also Jona. Pretty much most by Jona. This short film used Canon EOS 500D to film it in 720 HD setting. Voice is recorded afterwards.
